Below is a compilation of requests for information sent to the Global Human
Rights Education listserv during the past week. At the bottom of each
request you will find an e-mail address, so that you can respond to the
request directly.

REQUEST FOR HRE MATERIALS

I write from South Africa with a request for some advice and or help. I am 
a member of Amnesty International doing human rights education. I am also a 
founder of a non-profit organisation with a focus on Tibet/China relations.

Even though I have been given some material from AI I need to put together 
my own variety of educational material and I am finding some difficulty in 
getting such resource material besides AI information.

I write to ask if there is any human rights education organisation that you 
may know that would be willing to assist in donating some material for 
usage here in South Africa? Our poor currency exchange rate prohibits me or 
AI South Africa from purchasing such material.

If you need a reference contact number/s to ascertain I am who I say I am 
please do ask and I will supply you with such contacts. In the meantime I 
would be most appreciative if you could consider my request for help and 
direct me to any organisation that may be willing to assist me.

LOOKING FOR PH.D PROGRAM IN HUMAN RIGHTS, IMMIGRATION OR DIVERSITY

Is anyone aware of a Ph.D program for Human Rights, Immigration or 
Diversity with flexibility for professionals already working without 
leaving the work entirely? At reasonable cost of course!

I will appreciate a response from anyone who has that information.
