Looking for resources for illiterate communities (Sudan)

Dear All,

I just joined the mailing list because I am creating a new program in
southern Sudan on human rights education. One of our target groups is
civil society at a very basic level - in many cases people who are not
literate but who are working with church groups, women's organizations, or
youth groups. We hope that these people will then inform their
communities about their rights and encourage them to pursue their
fulfillment. In keeping with UNICEF's mandate, we are focusing on
children's and women's rights.

I am looking for resources on human rights education at a very basic
grassroots level. Can someone give advice or sources for information?

Many thanks,

Julianna Lindsey
