Teacher training in humanitarian law (Dallas, November 16-18, 2006)

Dear colleagues,

The American Red Cross will be hosting a teacher training on the Exploring
Humanitarian Law (EHL) program. The EHL curriculum targets high school
students to explore global citizenship and humanitarian law and principles
through hands-on activities. The training will take November 16-18 in
Dallas, TX (training begins at 5:00 pm 11/16 and concludes at 4:00 pm on
11/18). Please contact Alicia Guajardo at 202-303-5038 for additional
information and to request an application. Some costs are covered (2
nights' hotel for out of town participants, some meals and all curriculum
materials). Space is limited and application deadline is November 1st.

Thanks so much for any assistance in sharing the information and/or
identifying some potential educators to participate.

Best regards,

Alicia
