[hr-education-na] Short course 'Teaching human rights' (Philadelphia, August 30, 2006)

Dear colleagues,

On August 30, the American Political Science Association will sponsor a
short course on "Teaching Human Rights" at its Annual Meeting in
Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. For college
instructors, a new "teacher friendly" textbook will be featured, Richard
Pierre Claude and Burns H. Weston, "Human Rights in the World Community,
Issues and Action", 3d edition (Philadelphia, PA, 2006). The 568-page book
includes work by top experts worldwide, is comprehensive in coverage and
features discussion questions, bibliography, and an extensive and
up-to-date annotated "filmography".
