http://www.rpcv.org/pages/survey.cfm?id=52 (for individuals and groups

1. Peace Corps World Wise Schools: Correspondence Match program

 Posted by request:

We at the Peace Corps have a dynamic exchange program for U.S.
teachers and Peace Corps Volunteers serving overseas—an exchange of
letters, stories, pictures, souvenirs, artifacts. The program
enriches classrooms enormously and touches the hearts of students and
teachers alike. Its effect? Lifelong. Its cost? Nothing! We have
Peace Corps Volunteers in countries all over the world waiting to
write to teachers and their classrooms in the United States. All we
need to do here at Peace Corps headquarters is match those Volunteers
with teachers. Would you or other teachers in your school like to
participate?

We encourage you to contact Amy Clark, at the Peace Corps World Wise
Schools program. She coordinates the Correspondence Match program. Amy’s
e-mail address is mailto:aclark@peacecorps.gov. Teachers can also apply to
be matched online, at http://www.peacecorps.gov/wws/correspond
