Create a T-shirt design that reflects the theme “Deutsch ist cool!” Posted by request: Waldsee, the German language village of Concordia Language Villages, is offering a scholarship for a two-week program this summer. The most established and internationally recognized residential summer youth program with a focus on German language and culture, Waldsee emphasizes aspects of German, Swiss and Austrian language and culture that are exciting and engaging. We are currently seeking a student-created design for a t-shirt that reflects this theme. Designs can include simple pictures, expressions, figures or wordplays that promote something exciting in the world of German language and culture. The t-shirt will be used widely in our program this summer. First place winner will receive a full scholarship for a two-week session at Waldsee for the summer of 2006! Entrants submitting designs for the contest must be students currently enrolled in a K-12 school.
