The successful candidate will have a Masters Degree in Education or a
related field, plus five to seven years of progressively responsible
experience in the fields of education and training. Experience in
diversity training, primary/secondary classroom education, and/or school
administration a curriculum development is essential. Excellent writing
skills, specifically in the development and design of K-12 anti-bias
training and curricula; knowledge and understanding of anti-bias education
and diversity issues; as well as public education reforms and trends
impacting curriculum development is required. Excellent organizational
skills, the ability to work with and value a diverse workforce, and the
ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is also required.

The responsibilities of the position include:

* Supervise and direct anti-bias training and curriculum development and
implementation
* Manage the development, adaptation, and writing, and editing of
anti-bias education training activities, programs, and curricula for the
preK-12 grade communities, including Web-based resources
* Supervise Training and Curriculum staff, establish program development
priorities, and coordinate special projects as needed for
national/regional use and application
* Represent ADL at conferences and events where anti-bias and diversity
education and/or curriculum development are primary to the agenda
* Assist in establishing partnerships and collaborations with other
organizations in efforts to produce materials and programs that will
promote ADL's mission
* Write and publish education-related articles for national media
* Serve as a source of expertise and professional development on training
and curriculum development to the Education Division and other ADL staff
* Work with other members of senior staff to establish strategic
priorities

be relevant and appropriate to the performance of the duties and
responsibilities of this position.
