Social Media Proudly Present:

FIFTH ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS FILM SERIES

Our next screening is:

AFGHANISTAN UNVEILED, Mon., Oct. 11, 6pm, WCL Rm. 602

Afghanistan Unveiled is a poetic journey of reality and hope, which
reveals the effects of the Taliban's repressive rule and the recent U.S.
military campaign on Afghan women. The first-ever team of four women video
journalists present heartbreaking footage of rural Afghanistan, and serve
as a reminder of independent media's power to bear witness and reveal
truth.

Special Guest Speaker: Andrea Harrison, Policy Coordinator for Women's
Edge
