Resource related to current issue gay marriage

Dear List Members,

Last week the state of Massachusetts began issuing marriage licenses for
same-sex couples. I would like to draw your attention to an HREA study
guide "Sexual Orientation and Human Rights" that may help to orient you
and your students to the relevant human rights principles.

The guide is a concise 10 pages and contains the following sections, with
links to additional resources:

- Introduction
- Rights at Stake
- International and Regional Instruments of Protection and Promotion
- International Protection and Service Agencies
- Advocacy, Education and Training Materials

The study guide is located in HREA's Learning Centre at
http://www.hrea.org/learn/guides/lgbt.html. We will continue to add study
guides and welcome your feedback!

Best wishes,
Felisa
