[hr-education-na] YES! Magazine for a more just and sustainable world

Dear colleagues,

I hope to direct you to a great resource for for high school students.  I
work with the Education Outreach program at YES! Magazine, an ad-free,
quarterly journal of the Positive Futures Network (a nonprofit
organization) based on Bainbridge Island, WA.  YES! is an award winning
journal that is dedicated to providing positive news surrounding social
justice and environmental awareness.  YES! profiles everyday heroes who
work toward creating a more compassionate and sustainable world.

Through the Education Outreach program, we offer teachers in the U.S.
free, one-year trial subscriptions to YES!.  If you are interested in this

"Education Connection" link listed under "Programs."  Also, please take a
look at our back issues (downloadable for free online) and let me know if
a specific YES! issue relates well to your curriculum.  If so, I may be
