Re: Rationale for Human Rights Education revisited

Thanks to everyone who has responded to this query. Your comments have
been insightful and tremendously helpful as I and my planning team develop
our school proposal and plan. Your words have pushed our thinking and
provided us with additional solid arguments in defense of our school's
existence. As we move forward into our tightening-up and proposal
submission phase in January, we intend on keeping members of this listserv
posted as to our progress, and may ask for additional suggestions and
feedback along the way. I'm confident that we have support from you all,
and it is this support that strengthens our work. We hope that our
school, once it is up and running, can act as a model for fully
integrative human rights education in our public schools. Please feel
free to continue to post your comments on the rationale for a human
rights-based school, for such a dialogue can provide focus and spark new
ideas.

Wishing you all a peaceful and joyous New Year.
