[hr-education-na] Refugee Education Sponsorship Program

Dear all,

Greetings.  My name is Marc Schaeffer.  I would like to reintroduce a
program that I co-ordinate called "Refugee Education Sponsorship Program:
Enhancing Communities Together" (RESPECT).

RESPECT works to:

1.  Increase awareness of refugee issues by connecting teachers to
resources published by a variety of NGOs including UNHCR, IRC, ICRC and so
forth.
2.  Build bridges by introducing non-refugee classes to refugee classes by
pen-pal letter exchange.
3.  Encourage youth to ACT by raising funds for their partner refugee
school and/or raising awareness of refugee issues in their school &
community.

RESPECT still has over 100 letters from refugee students in Guinea and
Sierra Leone looking for partner classes.  Please feel free to explore our
