"UP IN ARMS" Forum / Conference: Raising Awareness for War-Affected
Children

UP IN ARMS features a Thursday evening forum with special guest Dr. Lloyd
Axworthy, and a Saturday conference with a variety of guest speakers,
interactive workshops and presentations. The forum takes place on
Thursday, November 20, at the Roundhouse Community Centre, beginning at
6:00 pm. Admission to the forum is free.

The conference takes place on Saturday, November 22 at BCIT Downtown
campus, and a sliding scale registration fee applies to help cover
conference costs and lunch. Pre-registration for the conference is
encouraged as space is limited.

UP IN ARMS has been organized by Amnesty International Canada with the
participation of Canadian Red Cross, CUSO, Lui Institute for Global
Studies, Oxfam Canada, Save The Children, War Child Canada, World Vision,
Youth Millenium Project, UNICEF, and USC Canada.
