Law students teaching human rights

Sean,

An idea that used to exist as a program at your university and may still
be going on is "Teaching Human Rights " in local high schools. Please ask
Bert Lockwood about this. This also was done a few years ago where law
students at Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey taught in a middle
school. (Many law schools from South Africa to Hungary to Russia teach law
and human rights in schools. More in other countries than the U.S.
Surprised?)

My organization, Street Law Inc. has a Human Rights for All text which was
used for this purpose.information on this is available on our website :
www.streetlaw.org There is also information there for law students
teaching law and human rights in schools and community settings. There is
also a manual on Street Law clinical programs

Anyone interested in law students doing this type activity should feel
free to contact me at the above email or below address and phone number.
