[hr-education-na] Looking for stories about youth action and sustainable development

Dear List members,

I am going to Cameroon for a conference called "Jeunesse et Promotion de
Developpement Durable" (Youth and the promotion of sustainable
development). I am conducting some pre conference research and
would be really happy to have anyone from this listserv who works with
youth in HRE to send me their thoughts and ideas on the following
topics. I am particularly interested in hearing about projects that youth
have done related to sustainable development and how youth can be
encouraged to take more action on this important issue.

-Youth's views of the world and sustainable development:
For example, What are youth doing about sustainable development? How can
they be encouraged?

-Peace and Sustainable Development:
For example: What are the consequences of conflicts on sustainable
development with particular regard to youth? What role can youth play in
the management and resolution of conflicts ?

-Social and Economic Needs:
For example: How can youth contribute to the improvement of social
services? What resources do they need? What role can youth play in
ensuring responsible parenting?

-The role of New Technologies and Improved Communication:
For example: What do new technologies and improved communication mean for
sustainable development? What kind of role do youth have in this?
