ERC-L is a bi-weekly e-mail newsletter about new resources for human
rights education and training on the web site of Human Rights Education
Associates (HREA). The Electronic Resource Centre consists of a Human
Rights Education Library, a Calendar which lists courses and trainings
worldwide, a Human Rights Education Links section and Databases of Human
Rights Education Funders, Material Developers, Organisations, and

## FEATURE ##
Human Rights Education Resourcebook
The second and revised education of the Human Rights Education
Resourcebook is intended for practitioners in the field and includes
directories of human rights education organisations and networks; human
rights training programmes; an annotated bibliography, incl.
audio-visual-materials and resources on the Internet; and a listing of
funders. The book provides information on over 250 organisations and 100
trainings offered regularly by NGOs and universities around the world in
training of trainers, NGO management, documentation and information
handling, international and regional mechanisms of human rights protection
and peacekeeping, in addition to internship opportunities and university
degree programmes in human rights and international law. The chapters are
organised around geographic regions: Africa and the Middle East,
Asia-Pacific region, Central and Eastern Europe/Newly Independent States,
Western Europe, Latin America and Caribbean, and North America.
