ERC-L is a bi-weekly e-mail newsletter about new resources for human
rights education and training on the web site of Human Rights Education
Associates (HREA). The Electronic Resource Centre consists of a Human
Rights Education Library, a Calendar which lists courses and trainings
worldwide, a Human Rights Education Links section and Databases of Human
Rights Education Funders, Material Developers, Organisations, and

## FEATURE ##
Primary School Manual: Opening the Door to Nonviolence (Croatia)
This comprehensive teacher manual was designed by the Croatian NGO Mali
Korak ("Small Step"). The manual was used with children in schools and
refugee camps in multiethnic settings, at the end of the Croatian-Serb
wars. "Opening the Door" is divided in five sections (1.
Affirmation-Communication-Cooperation; 2. Trauma Healing; 3. Preferences
and Prejudices; 4. Conflict Resolution; 5. Peaceful Living), which consist
of 20 "workshops", each with a specific theme.
