Description This package includes the methodology used for human rights-based assessment and analysis as well as a set of tools to assist assessment teams. Rights-based Municipal Assessment and Planning Project (RMAP) is a joint project by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and United Nations Development Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina that aims to improve human rights at the municipal level, by ensuring that local planning is based on accurate human rights-based assessments. The purposes of this package are to aid assessment teams with a toolkit for human rights-based assessment and analysis and to share a tested and systemic methodology with other organisations wishing to implement such an approach.
