HREA ist Mitglied des Europäisches Bildungsnetzwerk für Demokratie und Menschenrechte „DARE“. Beim „DARE-Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe“ Netzwerk haben sich aktuell 36 Organisationen in 26 Ländern angeschlossen.

DARE aims at achieving recognition, visibilitity and adequate resources for EDC and HRE as a core obligation for the formal and non-formal education systems throughout Europe.

The Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe (DARE) Network was officially launched on 28 June 2003 in Antwerp (Belgium). The network currently consists of 37 members from 26 countries in Europe.

DARE's current activities focus on "Democracy and Human Rights Education in Adult Learning", which is funded by the European Union. DARE's workplan for 2008-2010 includes Special Interest Groups, Synchronized Action Days, a conference and a hearing on EDC/HRE in the European parliament. More >>
