DARE, Démocratie et Education aux Droits de l'Homme en Europe, est un réseau européen qui se focalise sur les domaines de l'éducation pour la citoyenneté démocratique et l'éducation aux droits de l'homme.
DARE aims at achieving recognition, visibilitity and adequate resources for EDC and HRE as a core obligation for the formal and non-formal education systems throughout Europe.
The Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe (DARE) Network was officially launched on 28 June 2003 in Antwerp (Belgium). The network currently consists of 37 members from 26 countries in Europe.
DARE's current activities focus on "Democracy and Human Rights Education in Adult Learning", which is funded by the European Union. DARE's workplan for 2008-2010 includes Special Interest Groups, Synchronized Action Days, a conference and a hearing on EDC/HRE in the European parliament. More >>
