Description This is a guide for trade unionists in their fight against racism and xenophobia. Its starting point is the UN Declaration and Programme of Action adopted by the UN World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance (WCAR) in Durban (South Africa) on 31 August to 7 September 2001. The guide explains how the actions in the Programme can be used by trade unions in their fight against racism. It then looks at ways in which the trade unions can put their own houses in order, by making sure that their own structures and activities are geared to beating racism.
