| Description |
|
The short film by the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR) demonstrates DIHR's dedication to implementing the human rights based approach in its education programmes, manifested in three interlinked elements: 1. education about human rights: human rights education has an explicit point of departure in the legal framework of human rights and its instruments, mechanisms, principles, and standards; 2. Education for human rights promotion: DIHR courses aim to empower participants to undertake education, awareness-raising, and capacity development activities to promote their own rights and those of others; and 3. education through human rights: DIHR courses ensure that the process of education complies with human rights principles and promotes human rights. |
