Description As part of a comprehensive educational package, this training manual was designed to train teachers to help prevent and respond to school-related gender-based violence by reinforcing teaching practices and attitudes that promote a safe learning environment for all students. The manual provides participatory training sessions that equip teachers with knowledge and practices on developing proper attitudes towards young people, understanding gender issues, school-related gender-based violence and human rights (particularly the rights of the child). It guides teachers on how to create a safe and supportive classroom environment, to support young people to avoid or cope with school-related gender-based violence and how to develop an action plan in school.
