Description As part of a comprehensive educational package, this training manual was designed for trainers or facilitators in the training of community counselors to respond to school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV). The manual provides active learning activities to enhance community counselors with knowledge and skills to support the rights of young people, provide emotional support and assist them to report SRGBV incidents. The manual also offers guidance on how to refer young people who have experienced SRGBV to the medical, psychosocial, legal or safety services they may need, conduct follow-up with young people who have sought help and help young people who have been abused to plan for the future and be resilient.
