Description This resource aims to present a range of methodologies for programme coordinators and trainers working with youth in non-formal education settings who want to initiate, build on or improve existing activities or programmes. Ten methodologies are presented, each organised in three parts. First, the context of the programme is described, followed by a description of the main characteristics of the methodology used. Third, each section includes a sample activity, lesson or exercise. The ten methodologies outlined include film, moot courts, gender mainstreaming, letter writing campaigns, theatre, and personal biographies. The methodologies were tested by organisations part of The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EMHRN), which represents more than eighty human rights organisations, institutions and individuals based in thirty countries in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
