Description This is an evaluation of a SIDA-supported regional training programme on human rights in the Middle East and North Africa (2003-2006). It covered the implementation of six training courses on four topics: Human Rights and the Rule of Law; Equal Status and Human Rights of Women; Follow-up Programme and Introduction to Refugee Law; Human Rights and Good Governance. The evaluation drew lessons learnt from the training programmes based on the analysis of documentation, interviews and e-mail questionnaires. Conclusions were made about the effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the training outcomes.
