Description This scope and sequence for human rights education includes 13 lessons (one for each grade level, K-12) that are linked to Idaho's Social Studies curriculum standards. These lessons rely heavily on multicultural literature and historical stories/vignettes in exploring similarities and differences among people in order to allow children to make a connection with the human community writ large. Each lesson is mapped to relevant Idaho Social Studies standards and includes literature, a suggested activity and additional resources.
