HREA once again among the ‘best small charities in Massachusetts’

HREA has been included for the second time in the Massachusetts’ Catalogue for Philanthropy. This year’s edition of the Catalogue for Philanthropy profiles 81 of Massachusetts’ outstanding environmental, cultural, and human service agencies as “examples of excellence” in Massachusetts philanthropy.

HREA was chosen in a rigorous competition by professional grantmakers. “Charities are selected for general excellence, cost-effectiveness, and teaching value about philanthropy,” says George McCully, President of the Catalogue. As the Catalogue for Philanthropy put it when describing HREA: “Here is your opportunity to strike a philanthropic blow for freedom!“.
