Ana María Rodino

Ana María RodinoSenior researcher at the Costa Rica Distance University, Lecturer at the University of Buenos Aires and Educational Consultant, Instituto Interamericano de Derechos Humanos, San José, Costa Rica

Dr. Rodino is specialized in human rights education, educational radio production, radio production and Educational Television, Spanish language and literature and philology. She is the author of several books, including “Findings on democracy and human rights in secondary education in Costa Rica and Panama,” “Radio in adult education”, and numerous scientific articles on education and human rights. She also authored educational materials and teacher training for education in human throughout Latin America. Dr. Rodino was coordinator of the Education Unit of the American Institute of Human Rights in Costa Rica for 15 years, and served as a consultant for governmental and non-governmental Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Nicaragua; UNICEF and UNESCO. Ana María holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Rosario, Argentina, an MA in Linguistics from the University of Costa Rica, a Masters in Education from Harvard University and Doctorate in Education from Harvard University.
